The Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) announces their 3rd

Annual Stars and Stripes Dinner Gala Veteran Charity Event taking place on Friday,

May 19, 2023 at The Lower Hangar (student union) Embry Riddle Aeronautical

University. The featured Keynote Speaker, Chad Robichaux, is former Recon Marine and DoD Contractor with eight deployments to Afghanistan as part of a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) Task force and a Pro MMA Champion. He will detail the incredible rescue missions that evacuated not only his long-time friend and interpreter, Aziz, but also more than 17,000 Afghans and allies who were left in the grip of the Taliban’s violent regime as the United States military withdrew from Afghanistan.

VAREP (Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit

and certified HUD counseling organization. Our mission is to improve the lives of

servicemembers and veterans through education, housing, and philanthropy. VAREP,

along with national and local partners, will bring financial workshops tailored to military

and veteran communities. VAREP’s online presence combined with its housing events

provide financial literacy and military housing information directly to the population it

targets.

Established in 2011, our leadership realized many organizations help veterans with

pension, disability compensation, and critical needs but none were dedicated to

financial literacy, housing, and homeownership – We are that organization. While our

focus is on servicemembers and veterans, our programs are offered to all qualified

families who want the American Dream of homeownership.

As a housing non-profit for vets, by vets, our success is measured not by a balance

sheet for shareholders but by how many lives we can improve through our programs

and services. We may not end the epidemic of homelessness among the veteran

community, but can prevent it from happening in the future, one veteran at a time.

This will be a fantastic evening celebrating and remembering all who served our country. All proceeds will benefit local veteran assistance programs and homeownership efforts in Arizona.

How can you help our veterans? You can partner with VAREP by becoming a sponsor

or a volunteer for this great veteran charity event, buy a ticket or donate items for silent

auctions and raffles. Please contact Zena Krogedal, Prescott Chapter President, for
