We’re honored to be recognized by the community for the hard work and care the team at Good Samaritan Society – Prescott Valley has provided for 25 years.  Whether it’s the rehabilitation patients that rely on us to get them stronger and healthier or our long term care residents who call our facility their home, we’re proud of the care we give each day.

The Daily Courier’s Readers’ Choice awards for “Best of the Best 2022” in the best nursing home category is a great reminder to our team of the importance of what we do and how living up to the Good Samaritan mission of “sharing God’s love through the work of health, healing and comfort” shines through in our work.

Administrator Trevor Guthmiller was on-hand to personally receive the plaque at the Daily Courier award ceremony in early August.  He made sure to share the kudos and the award with his Prescott Valley staff, taking multiple photos with the nursing team, rehab therapists, dietary, maintenance and office staff holding the plaque they helped win.

“We are grateful to be able to do the work we do here each day,” Guthmiller said.  “Every person that walks through these doors, whether they are staff, patients, residents or family members, is treated with respect and kindness.  Just being nominated for this award shows that the good work we do is noticed.  We really appreciate the community voting us as the best in our field.  We’ll continue to work hard to live up to this great honor.”
