A generous donor recently left Yavapai Exceptional Industries (YEI!) two gently-used vans, in the form of a legacy gift. YEI! Executive Director Brad Newman said these vans replaced older vans that had begun to require constant repairs. Now, YEI! guys and gals can get to their jobs and activities safely and in style.

“We’re so grateful to people who remember YEI!” Newman said. “Thanks to their gifts we have no car payment, our insurance is low, and our YEI! guys and gals can get where they need to go, safely.”

Autotrim Plus, a full-service graphics company in Prescott, outfitted the new vans with decals.

According to the YEI! website, YEI! “has proven to be a responsible steward of donated funds and assets.”

The organization’s production facilities and Family Homes for men and women are debt-free. In partnership with Prescott Charities, Inc., an endowment fund has been established to support scholarships to enable those who qualify to participate in YEI! programs at no cost. Significant gifts grow over time, managed by an astute board of volunteers.

Also, a dollar donated to YEI! becomes eight dollars, because every day, people contribute materials and services at cost or below. Therefore, gifts multiply many times over, often bringing new life to gently used donated items.

YEI! accepts donations of cash, and also has parlayed gifts of land, stock, and vehicles into real assets that work every day for YEI! guys and gals.
